We've been training teachers since 1998.
In that time we have, together with our partnership schools and colleges, helped produce hundreds of great teachers and many of them are now working in the local community.
We believe in the importance of training teachers in the school environment which is why our courses are distinctly school based and why our partnership schools are so involved in the training programmes.
Covering Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Powys, and the West Midlands region we have a number of teacher training courses available for different stages of the teaching profession.
Initial Teacher Education
Teaching is a highly rewarding profession and is becoming an increasingly popular career choice for graduates.
At the Robert Owen Group we offer School Centred and Employment Based Initial Teacher Education courses for graduates looking to train to teach.
Our courses are delivered by working in close partnership with local schools and colleges and provide trainee teachers with a distinctly school based training experience.
Places are still available for September 2010 entry on some courses.
Return to Teaching
Been away from the classroom? Taken a break?
Our Return to Teaching course for qualified teachers will get you up to speed and back into the classroom.
Our 2009 course received an excellent monitoring report, and was reported as good with outstanding features. Following on from this success, our 2010 course starts in September.
